yum yum yum!  January 30 Trash The Gowns!!~~!!Next project I'm planning after CNY, is called TRASH THE GOWN. Apparently this concept is pretty popular overseas, and Malaysia is catching up soon. 3 people i know have actually done it.
Basically, its a photoshoot session on various environtments (outdoors, not gown friendly). Objective is to obtain unique, unconventional pictures with nice gowns.
Yet to figure out where, when, and who. But, will get there soon. :)

Im drowning with work, yet dont know where to start. Everything is on RED priority list!!
and freaking constractors kept doing some kinda reno at our pantry area, creative a helluva noise pollution and that area is just constantly 'farting' out the stink of glue! Bah! oh bummer eh....
Told my self to take a break and blog. But being May, im deprived of inspiration as always. So I started to look back at my previous post, especially overwhelmed by CNY post of 2007. Something choke me inside. I think Sad & Annoyed has come to stay. This is why.

This time, year of the tikus pulak! How ironic that some of us remembers each year by the animals. :)
A year zoomed by us again, truly like a speeding bullet. I realized this about a month ago, during the new year celebration. I was all alone with just my hubby, not that I dont have plans, but, I dont have the plan that I wanted. Hence (cheh.. hence.. hehe), made more effort to keep in touch with old friends, trying to get everyone together again. All for the sake of keeping old friends close, especially those that been through the childhood days together. This are one of the things you cant buy no matter how rich or succesful you become in future. You can buy new friends, but you cant buy the memories you spent with old friends.
We had a little gathering on Sunday. Us a few of us girls. Some, we've not met for months, maybe for other, years. However, the next day as we recap the gathering happennings, something dawned on me. Us girls are no longer one big happy group of friends as we used to be. Somehow, it is as if Mr Sarcastic came and crash our little party and sat on our same table. Some girls seem more matured, serious, boring, moody, mellowed to some, and the others seemed too childish, silly, immature and bitchy to others. Our once super noisy, bold, funny, loud & close group of biatches, are now.... sigh... 2 different bubbles. The plain coloured, and the colourful ones. There is no need to judge here which bubble would I prefer to be in, as, it shouldnt be 2 bubbles in the 1st place!!! Ironically, I didnt really realized all this during our little gathering. I was just engrossed in meeting up the old pals, and just want to know what shes been up to and updates updates updates. Little did I know that some were uncomfortable by meeting others, blame it on the ability of our brain and attitude's level of evolution. sigh
Frustrated with all this... i cant help but to add salt to my own wound by reminising another big happy group that somehow, cant stay intact due to so many other reasons that I can never understand why. Perhaps we should invite Forgiveness, Sanity, Kindness, Love, Friendship & Caringness to join us, and may it heal this little group of ours.
Many many years ago, we were just glad we found friends we have have fun with. Then, we are even more thankful to have them to share sorrows with. And as time passed, somehow everyone changed, and is just glad that they found new friends and ready to start the whole cycle of trust & friendship all over again. Call me 'jiwang' or whatsoever, i BET if i were to announced i have cancer of some death treatening disease, immediately all grudges would be put down and we are all happy and fine again! (i'm assuming.. it better be that way!!) BUt no, im all healthy and well, therefore, that equals to damn bloody powerless to change this rut we are all in. So what else can i do? I dont want to go begging everyone of scheming something up so we can all get together again. I've thought of it, shame on me.. i know.. but was just desperate.. then decided agaisnt it.
So, I know i may offend many by blogging this, but... dun think I can do anymore damage to all this more than it already is broken.
Enough sob stories, Im chasing Depression out of my head right now. So.. reminiscence ... ah... here goes.

Went back malacca for Felicias wedding. At the same time, after the wedding, took the opportunity to meet up with some old pals.
Lets talk about the wedding 1st. It was a beautiful venue. New hotel, Holiday Inn. Everything was nicely decorated.

                         January 02 A Christmas & A BirthdayWow.. Christmas Day... Where do I start..
Being a good wife, tagged along with my hubby to church with his parents and sister. Was alright, not as boring as always. This time, the church people made up a skit. Was pretty good and funny. Corny and cheesy storyline, but it kept me awake alright! Gosh, i gotta stop being so cynical about church stuff and try to be a good christian. But sometimes, I just cant digest yet all this holy holy stuff.. I feel too corrupted already i guess, beyond cure. hahaha.. If there is such thing. But honestly, it does takes a lot to make me truly understand Christianity. I failed at being a Buddhist, dip my toes in Islamic but learning thru Ray, failed miserably too, and now this? Sigh. Thank god sayangs pretty patient with me. I have this tendency to ask so many questions. Why Jesus being son of God is born as a baby? Why cant he be SUPERMAN!! Why is he mortal? Why is he born in a smelly lowly manger? Why not floated down by some magic clouds? Why is it a boy? not a girl? Girls cant save humans from sins? What about GIRL POWER? Why WHy Why?
So anyways, back to Christmas day, yea. church was pretty alright, bearable...
After church, went sayangs house for a nice nap, and had a nice lunch with his parents and sis.
Then we head home, tido somemore, and then headed for Daryls house for a Christmas visit.
Started drinking at 6pm! Whisky, vodca lime, beer, any intoxicating liquid. However, we had some really good food as well. Lovely lamb stew, some curry stuff and vege.
Then, headed for 2nd round to Edwards HOuse.
Would like to recap last years Christmas with Edward. It was at his sister, Royce place. I had so much chocs with wine, was sober all night, carrying out a good conversation and laughing and al. I thought the chocholates were the magic key to staying sober after so many glasses of wine. As soon as we said goodbyes to the host, i puke the shit out at the garden!!!!!!!!!~~!!!!
And this year, everyone remembers that and teased me about it!! hahahahahah
But, well, this year, someone else was the laughing stock, you'll see....
Royce was born on Christmas day! What luck eh... So every year, we celebrated Christmas and her birthday as well.

 Christmas 2007Christmas 2007 was quite a blast!

Been there a couple of times, but this is definately the best trip to SOMO.
It was a very Christmasy mood there. I brought along some hats from the previous parties, and they gave out some party packs.
Sayang & I was talking, and we realized that we only had 1 Christmas as bf & gf. This Christmas, we are husband & wife. COOOOLLLLL, I thought to myself. You know why this is cool to me? Cos I didnt even realized the fact I am someones wife this Christmas! Things have been pretty much the same since Ive signed the Papers, and, well.... nothing much has changed. I still meet up with pals, club with the girls, flirt hard and party harder... wow... what a cool hubby eh? Well, lifes... pretty COOL at this point of time.
So back to Christmas day.
During the evening, we had a family gathering at Kevins' POPO's house. Was unexpectedly great fun. Last year when I was there for their Christmas Day Dinner, I was super shy. Not only that, I was so out of place. Somehow, didnt feel like a family of theirs yet, still very much a stranger. This year, things were much different. I somehow felt I fitted right in. I was still shy and super quiet (i bet those aunties think that im such a goodie two shoes)! BUt at least, I ate a lot and smiled a lot Last year, I was so shy that i barely ate and drank. hahahahahah... yup.... im weird like that.. :)
And after the family dinner, went to SOMO to meet up with my 1st and bestest korkor Chun Kiat, some other friends, Zen & Catherine. They brought some other friends too, making our group the noisiest and roudiest around!!!~~!!

Makes me love him more cos when we started dating, for a few months he misses many MU games. Now, Im trying to make up for it.
Making more effort to accompany him watch some of his MU games. Starting to learn a little bit more bout footie, but its so not meant for girls. Apart from the joy of watching hot sweaty guys running around chasing one single ball just to kick it away, theres nothing much left for us girls. And sometimes, camera pans so fast, those little men on screen running around, bumming into each other getting hurt, i'd rather be watching a fashion show, hot guys walking steadily, heads up, showing off their hot bod, especially cute butts.
Occasionally, when the crowd makes some noise, i'd look up. Why? To check if theres a goal, cos if there is, sometimes theres a jersey striping show available. Or, a bunch of guys would just gather round and hug each other... aww.... big sweaty man showing emotions.. how sweet!
Okay... i better stop all this mockery, or sayangs gonna tickle me again...
The usual spot we go to would be Rainforest in Sunway Pyramid. Good choice, as I can shop while he watch, or I can read a mag, or I can just drink lotsa booze and try not to get too high by the time the 90 mins are over! hahaha
So the latest game we went, I got real bored. Then i noticed a nice camwhore spot. Theres this butterfly lighted decor, so decided to take some pics with it. Didnt turn out much like ive espected. Guess without make up, Im one big fat ugly duckling. hahahahaha

Diet FoodLast 2 weeks, when the holidays are drawing near, me and sayang decided that with all the holidays and parties coming up, we should try to lose some weight 1st. So well, why not right? So heres what we had the whole day
Half boiled eggs for breakfast and toast. Along with coffee and tea

Steamed fish with apple cider, ginger, olive oil & mushrooms
 Mix vege soup or better known as ABC soup
Only oily & fried stuff is the base for the soup. Fried garlic & anchovies.
 And dump it all in..... Carrots, cabbages, and mushrooms
 So no rice at all that day, just lotsa soup soup and more soup!
Well.. looks like a good slow on the tummy day.
However, next day we had mcDonald. BUMMER!!~~!!

BUT, somehow, as Donny put it, no marriage blog is complete without some love injected in it... so.. here goes
For me, I really cant say that Kevin is the 'love at 1st sight' case, or nor was he the "I knew I will always love you" kinda guy for me. God forbid me to say this, but in all honesty, Kevin was truly invincible to me. He was... the 'just a colleague' guy. So fate be it that we somehow manage to take things to a higher level, our new found feelings took charge and we hooked up right away. 2nd month into the relationship, he already talked bout marriage and settling down with me.
You know how things are just bloody ironic. Previous relationships, Im dying to settle down, kept talking about settling down, trying to be what I'm not in many ways. And after all those big commotion and hu ha in doing so many things, everything will just fall apart. Especially when we reach the 4 year mark of a relationship. Cos I feel, 4 years is just the point where you 'walk the talk' or... drop it hot!
So with Kevin, Im like "Once bitten, twice shy.... Twice bitten... NEVER TRY"! Two failed long term relationship is more than one gal can handle! Someone once said to me: "TRICE BITTEN, GO AND DIE!!!"
So, third time is the charm! Told Kevin, lets just do it. Get a house and we'll get married. and... so he did. :)
Fast forwarddddddddddd
8th December 2007, was a truly beautiful day. We were pretty buzy during the day. Rushing around getting the cupcakes, getting my make-up and hair done @ Covershots, setting up the centrepieces, finishing up the last decor touches.. etc etc. But I am happy to say this, in the midst of all the buzz, Kevin still make time to steal a kis, a peck on the forehead, a hug from the back and whispers of "Hows my wife doing". All this, calms me down and make me ever so eager to officially be his.
But seeing Kevin buzzing around trying his very best to make everything perfect for me, I knew deep down that this is the best decision I'ver ever made. This is truly MY BIG BREAK! He is definately the one

AMAZING eh!! Its been raining every day of the week!!
Here are some other decor items we cooked up, all part of the mission to create the ultimate ambience. A little bit of cozy-ness, a pinch of romance, a cup of sweetness, candles for a glitter of warmth and of course, pink for the color of LOVE
The registration table decor. Bought the cloth myself from Kamdar and decor this up on my own!! Chose each colour very carefully, with lotsa thoughts and discussions with sayang. There, I've learnt something. It is truly important to share opinion, and try to accept one anothers. However, Kevin somehow managed to attain a step higher of this relationships meaning, by having this magic he does of changing my mind subtlely, and giving in willingly, just as long as I am happy. :)
 The tables set with napkins and pretty white & pink balloons everywhere! Time used to fold those napkin nicely, well spent. And the little balloons on every alternate chair, shines an ambience of not only sweetness, but a touch of cuteness as well. Camouflaged the ugly cold plastic chairs eh. :)
 These lovely cupcakes, was part of my decor too. Glad they turned out to be so tasty too!
As i ordered these cakes online, I thought to myself. This design is simply perfect for my wedding. This is how I imagine our relationship to be.
It's everyones all time comfy food. When we are sad or down, we resort to, a bucket of ice cream or any high carbs, high sugary cakes!
So, I wanted my relationship to have a combination of all Richness, Sweetness, Comfiness, Fullness, Colours and everything Pretty and Nice!
 The eternity bands. We stumbled upon this set by chance. We were searching for the perfect pair for a long time. Somehow, nothing seem to fit our taste. After a long day of shopping & grocery shopping at Mid Valley, while waiting for Kevin to pay, I walked around on my own. And saw this pair. Immediately, I knew this was it. So excitedly got sayang to come over and try it on. We tried on a few others too, but nothing can match this, exactly what we have been searching for.

 and everything was perfectly well complimented by this pretty bouquet of roses, effort by my buddy Donny Ang! Such a talented guy eh!
 Donny even helped decor up my drinks bucket!!!~~!!

"Don! Go figure out what to do with these extra veil cloth and rose petals!"

 Great job Don! Especially with the rose petals all over...
 Then came the Babi Guy... ahahaha...
Parents in law ordered roast pig. It was 'surreal' seeing the.. erm.. disecting process? hahaha
 Donny had the 1st bite... forgiven him for all the amazing work he has put into my big day!
 Nevertheless, as the evening approaches and guest starts pouring it, I took a moment and just gaze into the ambience that I have worked so hard for.... it has all been so worth it! Achieved what I was aiming for. All thanks to the effort of my sayang and friends. For a moment there, I was touched. In the midst of all the prepartion buzz, the tiredness, the nervousness, the heavy make up and thickly sprayed on hair, I actually felt really really touched. Seeing people putting in all this effort to make things fit for this day, tells me one thing and one thing only. With love of the previous other half, family and friends, nothing else really seem to matter much. Knowing that everyone cared enough to do what they did, was enough to tell me, I better do my part as a great wife, daughter, daughter in law, sister in law, and mostly as a good fren, else, Im gonna lose the most precious people in my life!!!!
As it was almost time... i brace myself and started getting ready for the big signing moment.
I put on my shoes for the last time as a single gal... (special thanks to Ah Ling for capturing this pic...)
 I waited with sayang and took a deep deep breath... I cant really recall my exact thoughts. But I knew I was nervous. Blank thoughts perhaps. Most of all, I remember sticking to sayang everywhere he went for a while, it is as if I was afraid he will change his mind and dissapear. Silly me eh.....
 We finally get started...
Yen (Kev's bro) get things going with a little prayer session, thanking God for the beautiful day.. I myself prayed for the people we have, for the lovely weather *silently praying for it not to rain!. Also thank God for giving me Kevin, and most of all... i forgave my Dad for not wanting to come. Respected whatever his reasons may be, but this is a perfect day for me, in ambience, surrounding, people... and most importantly... emotionally perfect for me too. :)
 Then the whole ceromony started! As the ROM guy goes on and on about matrimony and rules in Malaysia about Marriages, I wasnt even listening. I was just plain nervous. All I remembered was he went on and on and on and on about rules rules rules and how we cant marry someone else. hahaha
Was holding on to Kevins hand so tightly. Not that Im afraid I'll just lift my skirt and run away (although i always joke to kevin i might do this). But I held him to tightly cos i was bloody nervous. With all eyes watching and me knowing that in moments, my life will never be the same again.. I was trying bloody hard not to cry!!!
 Then when the ROM guy finally stopped talking.. I thought that yeah! its over?
Then I remembered there is still the saying vows part and I Do parts....DAMN! hahaha
So after Kevin said his I Do, I said mine! (Stupid ROM guy kept asking "ARE YOU SURE?" "ARE YOU VERY SURE??"
I WANTED TO SLAP HIM!)
Anyhow, Kevin then needs to sign the cert...
 then my turn to sign... No doubts, NO hesitation, quick and smooth signature...
 Then comes the enchanging rings part. Still nervous as hell, somehow our rings don't really fit! hahahaha
Kevin slipped on the ring to my finger...
 The ring was on my finger.. good choice, I thought to myself...
And i just stood there smiling... :)
I forgot i need to do the same! My mom had to remind me! hahaha
and I was bloody nervous.. cant put it on properly!
After the whole ring commotion was over, we settled down a bit and the ROM guy nicely put those signed papers in a clear folder and presented to us.
Finally IT IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OFFICIALLY MARRIED!!!!! YOU MAY KISS THE BRIDE!!~~!!  Had a little ang pows and gift exchange moments...
 Then I thought I can just go to my friends and jump around with joy!! But NOOOOOOOOO... its time for photo session.

 Its amazing how things work out so right, when you least expected it to be!

 That night, a couple of friends stayed late. Don, Sharon, Joyce, Nick, Brad, Sue & Zen. We talked and talked. Bout life, bout career, bout business, bout the happenning of the day.... things settled down finally....
As i sipped more of my Bicardi Apple, I think to myself. This life.. this married thingy... isnt so bad after all. Im still me, Kevin is still him, our friends still love us the same, we still do stuff we like to, do stuff we used to... just, now, do more of those stuff together. With the exception that, the occasional 'me-space' thingy, like my clubbing sessions with pals, his football nights with guys... it is not too bad indeed... not too bad.

Preparations, a huge part of the whole event. All and all, there was lots to do. I MEAN A LOT!!!!!!!!!
BUt we did it together as a couple, rather happily... few squabbles here and there bout the teeny stuff, but it ws fun.
